The aim of the community service trip is to allow students at The Study to witness first-hand the impact they have had on this community. Students spend 10 days over their March Break in Nicaragua. While there, our students teach English as a second language. The accompanying teachers also have an opportunity to teach the students and provide professional development for the teachers. They also exchange cultural perspectives with their peers at The Diria Institute. Our students also meet each of the scholarship recipients. This year, we are embarking on our 6th trip. Since 2010, 85 Study students have visited our sister school in Diria.
